Martin Horneman GCF(APF) Adv.

Martin Horneman is a Fine Art Trade Guild Advanced Certified framer with a solid education from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen, Netherlands. He graduated in 2003, and in 2010, together with his wife Stefanie, he established his own framing workshop, where passion and craftsmanship converge. Their business, Atelier Horneman, is located in the beautiful city of Groningen in the northern part of the Netherlands.
Martin’s education at the art academy allows him to empathize with the needs of artists, and provided him not only with a profound understanding of colour but also familiarity with various framing techniques. He has served for over six years as a board member of the Dutch framing industry association Art-Frame.
His commitment to craftsmanship and creativity has led to collaborations with museums and individuals who appreciate meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of framing.
In 2020, Martin was awarded the title of Framer of the Year in the Netherlands in recognition of his dedication to the industry and his technical skills.
As a trainer, Martin is eager to share his experience and knowledge with his students and helping to enhance their skills.
