Hey everyone, just a quick update! We’ve had a few enquiries about whether any of us will be at the Fine Art Trade Guild event in Stratford-upon-Avon on 24th September 2023.
Unfortunately, none of us will be in attendance because we already have plans in place. Before the event date was announced, we had already scheduled a trainers working weekend in Northern Ireland. This is the first time all six of us will have been together as a team since May 2022. We’ll be catching up over the course of the weekend and discussing all things training related. We might even pay a visit to the Giant’s Causeway while we are there.
The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland and is about three miles (4.8 km) northeast of the town of Bushmills.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and a national nature reserve by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland in 1987. In a 2005 poll, the Giant’s Causeway was named the fourth-greatest natural wonder in the United Kingdom.
Much of the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast World Heritage Site is owned and managed by the National Trust. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Northern Ireland.
